Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson realized that there was no turning back once they walked into their Hamburg church. Ashley was just 17 years old and never been with a man before, so they took it slow. They were instantly in love. It was New Day, right before the start of 2016 Andrew wanted God to grant him one more thing in the was to come... in the hope that Ashley would say yes and wed him. Ashley really wanted to do the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme because it symbolized Andrew as well as her. They incorporated a small amount of everything they loved to create the big day. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of the land Ashley grew up on. Ashley had a good understanding of the entire area having walked through it and played there. Additionally, Andrew and Ashley have walked through across the field several times since they first started dating. Because the wedding was essentially DIY, personalization was a big aspect. Andrew Ashley's father, Andrew and Ashley themselves designed all the decor. Ashley also painted and made a variety of decors. Ashley says that the wedding would not have taken place if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral hadn't completed her incredible floral design to us, our wedding may not have been as magical feeling I hoped it would. It truly is breathtaking.
